Content License
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This License explains your rights to the designs you generate with Paperbud and how our plans grant personal and commercial use.
1. Your inputs and uploads
You keep ownership of the text descriptions and reference files you provide. You grant Paperbud a limited, revocable licence to process them to generate your design and operate the service. Uploaded reference files are cached for generation and cleared on a rolling basis (by default within 30 days).
2. Rights to generated designs by plan
- Sketch (free): personal, non-commercial use only. Outputs are watermarked. No resale or commercial distribution.
- Maker: a personal and small-business commercial licence. You may use, print and sell finished printed goods that incorporate your designs (for example invitations, labels, cards) up to a reasonable small-business volume.
- Studio: an extended commercial licence covering higher volumes and client work, plus brand-kit assets you configure.
3. What you may not do
- Resell or redistribute generated files as standalone templates, clip-art or a stock library.
- Claim the underlying Paperbud tool, styles or system as your own product.
- Use designs in any way that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Print quantities and finished goods
Licences cover printing and selling finished physical goods you produce from your designs. They do not permit repackaging the digital files themselves for resale. If you are unsure whether your use is covered, contact us before you scale up.
5. Licence duration
Rights to designs you generated during an active paid plan continue for those specific designs after you downloaded them, subject to this License and the Acceptable Use Policy. Watermarked Sketch outputs never carry a commercial licence.
